2012 Judges
We have an awesome panel of judges again this year.
Head Judge
Daddy Vick Germany lives in San Francisco. She was a member of the Outcasts, which transformed into the Exiles, and has been a continuous member. She has volunteered at numerous Exiles events such as Carnal Carnival, Novice Night, and the Folsom ForPlayparties as well as co-emceeing their pre-Folsom Meet N Greet.Daddy Vick won the SF Dyke Daddy contest in 2002. She is a member of Mama’s Family (Mama’s SF Dyke Daddy and Mama’s Master Flogger).
Daddy Vick was a Director of the Inter-Club Fund (ICF) and was selected the ICF’s ‘Woman of the Year’ 3 times. She was also an Independent Director of the SF Bay Area Leather Alliance. Daddy Vickhas proudly served as the Leather Pride Contingent Co-Grand Marshal. Since 2004, Daddy Vick has supported the Leather Archives and Museum (LA&M). She was honored by the LA&M’s Women’s Leather History project when they listed her as one of the ‘Women in Leather History’ on their FaceBook page in March 2012.
Daddy Vick has been on various organizing committees, such as Leather-Levi Weekend and Leather Leadership Conference 12; judged numerous local and international contests, includingIMsL, IML XXX, and IMsL Bootblack; been on several panels, and taught the ‘Passion of Flogging’ classes. While President of the Dykes on Bikes® from 2003 – 2008, she presided over the trademarking of the phrase ‘Dykes on Bikes®’ that was challenged all the way up to the U.S. Supreme Court, which refused to hear the opposition’s case. She was presented a ‘President’s Award’ at the Pantheon of Leather Awards XVIII for her work in overseeing the trademarking of the phrase ‘Dykes on Bikes®’.Daddy Vick iscurrently the President of the SF Dykes on Bikes® Women’s Motorcycle Contingent.
Leo Peralta had the honor of serving her community as Ms San Francisco Leather 2010. She has also served as the Marketing Director and Co-Owner of butchboi.com, and is a founding member of The Big Pink House (Open 2009-2011), a small local community dungeon that was dedicated to affordable BDSM education and opportunities for play. She has been a presenter, event organizer and Co-Director of Marketing for International Ms Leather Weekend, and currently works as one of their Graphic Designers. She has also served as Marketing Committee Member and Onsite Coordinator for Folsom Street Events Venus Playground, and has completed the National Coalition for Sexual Freedom’s (NCSF) Education Outreach Program and Media training. Leo continues to organize the Bay Area Queer/Leather Happy Hour, as a monthly social meet up for Leather folks that just celebrated it’s 3 year anniversary.
She has volunteered for the Exiles, SF Citadel, and many other Leather groups in the Bay Area. She is a member of the NCSF and an Associate Member of the Dyke Uniform Corps. She works hard, plays hard, and is currently going to school to formalize her education in Graphic and Web Design.
Jessie Vanciel has been into leather/kink/fetish/gear since he was 16 years old. He locked someone in an equipment locker at school and liked it. He has a variety of community experience in SF Citadel, Habitat for Humanity, Society of Janus, Alameda County Leather Corp, as an Audubon volunteer and plays ball in the SFGSL.
He is Iron Dom 2011, Mr. Citadel 2011-2012, Mr. San Francisco Leather 2012, a Co-Producer of Northern California Leather Sir/boy & Community Bootblack, Co-Producer of Balls to the Walls (Out of the Bars Community Event), Producer of Making the Connection (Educational Program for Gay men By Gay men), Host of Black Saturday (a monthly Sexy Leather and Gear Fundraiser @ the Powerhouse) and a supporter of the San Francisco Girls of Leather.
Jessie is a Sadistic Top, who loves to laugh, an impact specialist and rope enthusiast.
Angela di Tenebre has been active in the San Francisco kink and leather community since 2001, holding leadership positions with several Bay Area leather organizations. She has worked on the Advisory Committee for SF Citadel and LLC-XII, and has been part of the planning committee for LLW for several years. She is a member and officer of the Society of Janus, a member of Mama’s Family in Leather (Mama’s Leather Spirit), and one of the newest members of SF Defenders. In 2012, she was elected as an Independent Director of the SF Bay Area Leather Alliance.
As part of EduKink, Angela spends half of her Thursday nights teaching the Newcomers Series and Paideia playshops. She has taught a broad spectrum of leather education programs, ranging from Janus’ XPlore Series to Leather Leadership Conference (LLC-12).
Outside the kink community, Angela has provided information on BDSM for the Berkeley Free Clinic’s volunteer training, lectured for the National Sexuality Resource Center’s Summer Institute at SFSU, and is a Distinguished Lecturer and SAR faculty member for the Institute for the Advance Study of Human Sexuality. She and her partner were recognized by the Erotic Heritage Museum in Las Vegas for their contributions to the field of sexology/erotology.
Angela is the owned and collared consort of her liege, Iain, as well as an MFS (Mean Fucking Sadist) who gets off on making little girls and boys cry.
Secret Judge
Tim served as Northwest slave 2008 and International slave 2009 with his deceased owner Daddy Ken. Tim holds a PhD in history and taught at the university level before moving to San Francisco. In 2006 he sold himself and all his possessions to Daddy Ken. Although they ended their formal M/s relationship in 2011, they continued to serve the community as teachers, mentors, and role models until Daddy Ken’s death in April 2012. Now trying to steer a solo course through life, Tim remains involved in the kink and M/s communities. Identifying as versatile, before Ken death Tim acquired two boys as their daddy and is currently training a newbie for consideration as a slave. Tim is a power bottom. As a daddy he is a care-giver, and as a sadist–be sure you negotiate.
